Aizaz Cheema took two wickets to restrict Bangladesh to just 52 for five at lunch on the first day of the first Test against Pakistan on Friday.

 

Bangladesh was reduced to 28 for four in the 16th over with Cheema (2-12) setting the pace after Pakistan won the toss and decided to put Bangladesh into bat at Chittagong’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

 

Mohammad Nazimuddin lead the hosts’ batting with 27 not out at lunch. Mahmudullah (1) is his partner in the middle.

 

Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal claimed a wicket each, while Abdur Rehman dismissed Shakib Al Hasan just before lunch. (Agencies)
