Pakistan team is going to have a nee beginning as they face New Zealand in a five-match T20I series. The Men in green had a poor outing in the recently-concluded ICC Champions Trophy, and got eliminated after the group-stage matches. As the T20 World Cup is in line next year, the Pakistan team is going to use the bilateral series as preparation for the upcoming event.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to make some bold changes in their T20I team and dropped Babar Azam and Mohammed Rizwan from the squad. Salman Ali Agha got named the captain for the 20-over format with Shadab Khan being returning as the vice-captain.
On the other hand, New Zealand have named a team for the series with some player not being available to play because of the 2025 edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). The Kiwis are going to be led by Mitchell Bracewell.
