Elton Chigumbura‘s availability in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 game against Pakistan is under serious doubt. In the 23rd over of the game, when Zimbabwe were fielding, their skipper Elton Chigumbura got injured while tried to chase down a Mishbah-ul-Haq shot. Chigumbura, tripped over as he tried to dive to stop the ball from going into the boundary, but ended up sprawled on the ground. His right foot got caught in the turf, and he fell heavily on his left knee. Live updates: Pakistan vs Zimbabwe
Some reports suggested, Chigumbura was suspected to have torn a quad muscle and on Monday, he would have a scan on it. So in this Pakistan game, the Zimbabwe skipper and premier all-rounder won’t be able to bowl and will bat if it will be required. Live Scorecard: Pakistan vs Zimbabwe
