Skipper Dheeraj Jadhav (74) and Tarjinder Singh (66) scored half centuries in their 109-run stand for the fifth wicket as Assam scored 393 in their first innings against Hyderabad in a Ranji Trophy Group C cricket match, here today.

Assam resuming at 248 for 4 and riding on Jadhav and Singh’s determined batting they managed to get close to 400-run mark.

Leg-spinner Kash Bhandari (3/93) was the most successful bowler for the hosts with three scalps while Mehdi Hasan (2/88) and AI Harrsha (2/99) took two wickets apiece.
