Ranji Trophy 2018-19, Elite B, Round 6, Day 3: Rohit Rayudu holds the key to Hyderabad gaining first-innings lead versus Bengal
Hyderabad were 204/4, still adrift Bengal’s first innings total by 132 runs at stumps on the penultimate day of their Round 6 Ranji Trophy 20181-19 Elite B match on Friday.
For Hyderabad which resumed their innings at 20/1, Rohit Rayudu, still unbeaten on 92, holds the key to the first-innings lead after Bengal were bowled out for 336, courtesy Abhimanyu Easwaran’s scintillating 186 off 337.

On Friday, Bengal’s veteran pacer Ashok Dinda caused most of the damage picking two of the three wickets that fell on the day. He first had Himalaya Agarwal depart for a well-played 65 and then sent the dangerman Bavanaka Sandeep for just 13.
However, Rayudu, stood firm and went to smash 10 boundaries for his fighting 92 off 251 deliveries. For Bengal, Dinda returned with figures of 3 for 54 in his 16 overs.
