Ranji Trophy 2018-19, Elite C, Round 3, Day 3: Slow-going Tripura survive another day

Losing just four wickets on day three of their Elite Group C round three match in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy at Srinagar has given Tripura room to breathe, but hosts Jammu & Kashmir  will back themselves for a win on the last day.

From 11/0 overnight, Tripura were 233/4 when bad light stopped play on Thursday. They trail by 85 runs.

Udayan Bose’s 67 from 161 Valls and an unbeaten 71 off 189 by former Gujarat and India Under-19 wicketkeeper-batsman Smit Patel were the main contributions. Pratyush Singh was 40 not out at stumps having added 67 with Patel. For J&K, Waseem Raza was the most successful bowler with 3/59.
