Ranji Trophy: Robin Bist, Mahipal Lomror hundreds help Rajasthan to huge lead

Centuries to skipper Mahipal Lomror and senior batsman Robin Bist took Rajasthan to a potentially decisive lead of 325 by stumps on day two of their 2018-19 Ranji Trophy Elite C match versus Haryana in Jaipur.

From an overnight 171/2 – after Haryana were bowled out for 118 – Rajasthan ended Sunday on 443/5 with Lomror scoring 106 off 173 balls and Bist 121 not out. Ashok Menaria (47) and Rajesh Bishnoi (44) contributed helpful innings on the way.

This is Bist’s 14th first-class hundred in his 97th match, and second for Lomror, in his 20th game. After a sluggish start to the Ranji season, the 19-year-old Lomror has picked up with scores of 133, 85 and 106 in three of his most recent four innings.

Lomror hit 14 fours and a six while Bist struck 12 fours and a six.

For Haryana, the legspinner Yuzvendra Chahal  claimed 3/91 in 31 overs.
