Ranji Trophy: Tripura eye draw after Jharkhand’s 409

Tripura ended day three of their 2018-19 Ranji Trophy match against Jharkhand  trailing by ten runs with eight wickets remaining, after the hosts were dismissed for 409.

Jharkhand added 102 runs to their first-innings total, moving from an overnight 307/4 with the opener Kumar Deobrat scoring 150 before the lower order progressed in fits and starts. The skipper Ishan Kishan made 39 and Varun Aaron (15) and Rahul Shukla (18*) injected vital runs down the order. Neelambuj Vats finished with 5/50 from 18 overs.

After an early wicket to Ashish Kumar, Tripura were carried in a stand of 110 between Bishal Ghosh (61) and Udiyan Bose (73*).
