Ranji Trophy: Haryana chip away at Rajasthan’s lead after Robin Bist’s 150*

A much improved second innings from Haryana, featuring fifties to Himanshu Rana (83) and Chaitanya Bishnoi (87*), have taken the visiting team to 128 runs shy of Rajasthan’s first innings total at the end of day three of their 2018-19 Ranji Trophy Elite C match in Jaipur.

Robin Bist’s unbeaten 150 helped Rajasthan declared on 490/6  – a lead of 372 – and Rana and Bishnoi helped Haryana to 244/3 in reply Monday.

Pramod Chandila is batting on 42 having added 87 with Bishnoi. One day remains. Rajasthan lead Group C with 34 points, while Haryana are fifth with 15.

Bist’s 14th first-class hundred in his 97th match contained 17 fours and a six. For Haryana, the legspinner Yuzvendra Chahal claimed 3/107 in 33 overs.
