Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) take on Delhi Daredevils (DD) in the 40th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 7 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Both the teams have had a disastrous campaign so far. While Delhi have lost all chances of qualifying for the playoffs this season, Bangalore can still make it to the last four with a bit of luck and by winning all their remaining encounters of IPL 2014. Bangakore’s sporadic batting form has been the biggest worry this season. They generally depend on their batsmen to give them the ideal scores, but they haven’t been able to do so regularly this season. Chris Gayle‘s repeated injury have not helped the situation either. The track at Chinnaswamy stadium should continue to favour the batsmen, and the outfield is very quick too. The team batting first can sometimes lose the plot in an attempt to go for too many shots too early in the piece. The dew factor can come into play as well. One can only hope that both teams can raise their game to give the fans their money’s worth.
