After winning the third round of the three-match series in Bengaluru on Wednesday with much effort, the Indian cricket team created history by winning 3-0 over Afghanistan. In the end, India prevailed in two Super Overs, with Rohit Sharma, Rinku Singh, and Ravi Bishnoi emerging as the match’s top performers. With this series victory, India has now won nine straight T20I cricket whitewash series, more than any other nation in the sport’s shortest format. India and Pakistan were deadlocked at eight points, but Rohit Sharma’s team won on Wednesday to capture the incredible T20I record.

After two exciting super overs, India defeated Afghanistan in the third Twenty20 International match.

Afghanistan also finished with the same score in Chasing 212.

India extended the game by matching Afghanistan’s score of 16 in the first super over. However, the visitors were unable to chase down a goal of 12 in the second super over, as Rohit Sharma’s team took the necessary two wickets through Ravi Bishnoi.

Earlier, India rallied to record 212 for four after falling to 22 for four in the fifth over, driven by captain Rohit Sharma’s unbeaten 69-ball 121 and Rinku Singh’s 69 off 39 deliveries.

Gulbadin Naib led his team’s incredible comeback with a 23-ball 55 as Afghanistan also finished at 212.

The most effective bowler for Afghanistan was Fareed Ahmad Malik, who finished with fantastic figures of 3/20, despite Rohit and Rinku taking care of his companions.

India prevailed Thriller 3-0 to win the series.

Before the 2 Super overs team India ended Shivam Dube (1) was sacked by Azmatullah Omarzai. After stabilising the innings, Rohit Sharma and Rinku Singh pummelled the Afghan bowlers. With a stunning fifth T20 century, Rohit Sharma’s (121) total is now his highest ever. Additionally, Sharma is now the only batsman in T20 cricket history with five hundreds. Rinku Singh also reached his half century (69), contributing to India’s 20-over total of 212/4.
