Rohit Sharma posts hand-written note to thank well-wishers on 29th birthday

Indian batting star Rohit Sharma, who turned 29 on Saturday, took to Twitter to express his feelings and thanked many of his fans and well-wishers.

Indian batting star Rohit Sharma, who turned 29 on Saturday, took to the social networking website Twitter to express his feelings and thanked many of his fans and well-wishers on his birthday. Rohit posted a photo of a neatly hand-written note on Twitter, saying that he needed to do something unique to express his gratitude to his fans after their wishes on his 29th birthday. Rohit is currently busy leading the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the ongoing ninth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), and he even achieved a unique feat of captaining the IPL franchise for 50 matches in the tournament’s history. The right-handed batsman, who had a mixed run in limited-overs cricket in the build-up to the IPL, has been in a great form for the Mumbai Indians. In the ongoing IPL 2016, Rohit has been in a terrific form. He is the second highest run-scorer in the tournament as of Saturday, April 30 afternoon. Rohit has so far played 8 matches for the Mumbai Indians (MI), in which he has scored 298 runs with 4 half-centuries, and the highest score being 84 not out. On the occasion of his birthday, a lot of his cricket fans wished him online on his birthday. Rohit took the social media website Twitter to thank his fans for their well wishes.


However, instead of just tweeting that he wishes to thank his fans or putting up a video, Rohit did something very special for them. He wrote a handwritten letter for them.
