Royal Challengers Bengaluru created history on Sunday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium as they became the first-ever team to win six consecutive matches at an away ground.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru scripted a convincing 6-wicket victory over the Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday. RCB lost early wickets as Devdutt Padikkal and Rajat Patidar had to return to the dugout with a disappointing score.
However, Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya built a strong 119 run stand for the 4th wicket, helping RCB chase down the modest total of 163 runs against DC. RCB became the first team in the 18th edition of Indian Premier League to record their 6th consecutive victory in away ground.
RCB struggled in their home ground, M. Chinnaswamy Stadium as they won one out of four match, but on the road RCB has been unbeatable as they look in a great touch.
Coming to the match, Krunal Pandya’s played an impressive knock of 73, helping RCB win the match and become the IPL points table topper. While, chasing the modest total of 163, RCB was struggling at the start of their innings as they were three wicket down before Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya built a 119 run partnership.
Tim David also contributed 19 runs off five deliveries to secure the win with nine balls to spare at Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla ground.
“He (Pandya) can make that impact and we were just waiting for him to come into this tournament with the bat as well. And today was his day completely and he was absolutely brilliant.” Kohli siad about Krunal Pandya as he also took a wicket conceding 28 runs.

Kohli and Pandya’s fourth wicket partnership took the game away from Delhi. It was Bengaluru’s sixth consecutive away win as they search for their first IPL title since the tournament started in 2008.
