Australian fast-bowler, Ryan Harris has decided to retire from competitive cricket across all formats. His announcement came just after he was not selected in the national squad for The Ashes 2015 owing to knee injury. Following his retirement, the social media was flooded with messages and wishes to the Australian fast-bowler, along with players who congratulated him and celebrated their glorious moments with him on and off field.

Harris missed Australia’s recent series win in the West Indies in order to be present for the birth of his child, and after watching him bowl in the tour-opening win against Kent at Canterbury, team coach Darren Lehmann laid down the conditions required for the bowler to regain his Test place.
