London: Sam Billings, who is set to make his Twenty20 International debut for England in Tuesday’s match, believes the One-Day International (ODI) series win against New Zealand can really inspire the team to perform well and hopefully win the The Ashes 2015. Billings said he was hopeful that the vibe could be taken forward into the Ashes and the one-day series, the BBC reported. Billings, who was in his maiden one-day series for England said that it has been a phenomenal experience and one that he would remember for the rest of his life. He insisted that the win has hopefully generated a bit of interest around the country and got people behind the England cricket team going into the Ashes.
