Shashi Tharoor, member of parliament of Thiruvanathpuram, has congratulated Kerala cricketer Sanju Samson for his maiden call up to the Indian team. The 20-year old was selected for the One-Day International (ODI) and the T20 series against England.

Samson had made a name for himself during IPL 2013, where he impressed everyone with his fabulous strokeplay. Recently, he also impressed with the bat in the recent quadrangular series for India A where he scored 244 runs in seven innings.
