Shakib al Hasan to get arrested? Warrant issued for former Bangladesh captain

Bangladeshi star all-rounder and former captain Shakib Al Hasan has got an arrest warrant issued to his name by a court in Dhaka. The reason of the warrant is two bounced cheques against his company Shakib Al Hasan Agro farm.

A court in Dhaka has issued an arrest warrant against former Bangladesh captain and all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan on the case of two bounced cheques. The warrant got issued by Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Zaidur Rahman, who gave police the orders to submit in a report of order being exwecuted by March 24.

The case begins from Shakib’s failure to appear in court as ordered earlier, which was related to a case filed by the International Finance Investment Commerce (IFIC) Bank.

The bank had previously also issued a legal notice regarding the bounced cheques on December 24 against Shakib and his company, Shakib Al Hasan Agro farm.

Shakib is currently living in United Stated because of the danger to his safety over the civil distress, that even caused the Prime Minister to leave the country last year.

Along with Shakib, the court has also issued a warrant against the managing director of the agro farm Gazi Shahgit Hossain, as he failed to respond to summons. Rest of the two officials surrendered before the court and got bailed after the hearing.
