Australia legend Shane Warne in a Facebook Live on Thursday announced that Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara were the best batsmen he has ever bowled to. Warne has had excellent battles with both of them during his playing days. Warne also revealed that Pakistan leg-spinner Yasir Shah is the best leg-spinner he has ever worked with. Warne has often offered assistance to Yasir and Warne is seen on a lot of occasions giving tips to him. He also weighed in on the current series between England and Pakistan, where he is a commentator for Sky Sports. He believes that Adil Rashid should play the fourth Test against Pakistan, if the wicket id dry, like it usually is. Warne also spoke about many non-cricketing topics. For example, Argentine footballer Lionel Messi is his personal favourite, while his son idolises Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo. Warne is Australia’s leading wicket-taker with 708 scalps in 145 Tests. He is only behind former Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan, who has exactly 800 wickets to his name. Warner made his debut for Australia in 1992 and went on to play for his nation till 2005. He also has 293 ODI wickets in 194 matches.
