Rajasthan Royals captain Shane Watson has taken a hat-trick in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sardar Patel Motera Stadium. Hyderabad’s innings has been stuttering and they have kept losing momentum. Watson’s hat-trick has added to their woes even more. Watson’s hat-trick was actually split. In his initial spell, in the fourth over, he had bowled Shikhar Dhawan off the last ball of the over with one that kept low. In the 16th over, Moises Henriques tried to hit one over the top off Shane Watson but hit it straight to Ajinkya Rahane at long off. Then off the next ball, he had Karn Sharma caught behind. Earlier, Hyderabad had been put into bat after Rajasthan elected to bowl. Hyderabad made two changes for this game with Moises Henriques and Amit Mishra coming in for Darren Sammy and Ishant Sharma. Rajasthan dropped Rahul Tewatia and Tim Southee as Dhawan Kulkarni and Kane Richardson came back. In Rajasthan’s previous game against Kolkata Knight Riders at the same venue, Pravin Tambe had taken a hat-trick.
