Hardik Pandya has recently disclosed that he found Shane Watson to be the toughest to bowl at. The young cricketer had a memorable tour of Australia being a part of the Indian team that beat Australia 3-0 in the Twenty20 International (T20I) series at their. The tour was even more special for him as he made his international debut with the first T20I of the series. Pandya also mentioned about the fact that he found the pitches in Australia different from usual. “I could have bowled better but the wickets are not the kind we see in Australia. It wasn’t easy to bowl,” he said.
When asked about which of the Aussie batsmen made him more uncomfortable to bowl at, he named Shane Watson without thinking much. Talking about the reason, he stated, “He hits so well, I have to think quite often how to bowl to him.”
Pandya will be next seen in action in India’s upcoming home series against Sri Lanka. “There isn’t much time to prepare as the T20Is against Sri Lanka. I will not rest. I’ll quickly hit the grounds for practice.”
The player did not get the chance to display his abilities with the bat. Talking about it, he said, “As far as not getting a chance to bat it dosen’t matter much as far as the team won. I am hopeful that I will get a chance to bat in upcoming series.”
