Australian fast bowler Shaun Tait, who picked up a hat-trick for Essex against Nottingham in Trent Bridge on Friday, got engaged to Mashoom Singha, a wine entrepreneur.
Singha is a swimsuit model, who featured in the calendar shoot for Kingfisher on Kangaroo Island in 2005. She later became a wine entrepreneur. According to NDTV, Tait began to appreciate the simple things in life and became a more relaxed soul while staying with her in Mumbai. He went on to propose to her in Paris last month.
The couple met during the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2010.
