India opener Shikhar Dhawan will donate money to the families of the martyred soldiers in the Pulwama Attack who were killed in a dastardly attack on Thursday. The southpaw took to Twitter on Sunday and posted a video pleading Indians to come forward and support the families of the martyrs.

Dhawan joins a list of Indian cricketers who have volunteered to help the families of the soldiers who were brutally killed after a vehicle, loaded with explosives rammed into one of the buses of the convoy killing 50 soldiers on the spot.
On Saturday, former India opener Virender Sehwag pledged his responsibility to educate the children of the deceased soldiers. “Nothing we can do will be enough, but the least I can do is offer to take complete care of the education of the children of our brave CRPF jawans martyred in #Pulwama in my Sehwag International School @SehwagSchool, Jhajjar. Saubhagya hoga,” Sehwag tweeted.

“We as a team have decided to donate the prize money to the family of the martyrs who lost their lives in Pulwama. This is a small gesture from our team and VCA,” Vidarbha captain Faiz Fazal said.
