Shubman Gill secures triple-feat in 3rd ODI vs England: 1st Indian batter to reach such achievement

Shubman Gill continued playing with his splendid form, scoring a century in the 3rd ODI of the three-match series. He also became the first Indian player to score a century across all formats at a same venue.

Indian vice-captain Shubman Gill scored a spectacular century when playing against England in the 3rd and final ODI of the three-match series. Gill reached 112 runs in 102 balls. With this knock , Gill has now secured a century in all the three formats of the game at the venue.

Shubman Gill has a total of 412 runs from 7 matches in this stadium. The batter scored a century in T20I against New Zealand in 2023, followed by Test century against Australia in the same year. Now, he also secured an ODI century as well.

Shubman Gil is the first Indian batter to achieve this massive feat, and is the 5th overall across the globe. Only Faf du Plessis, David Warner, Babar Azam and Quinton de Kock have registered centuries in all three formats at particular venues.
