Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Thursday named a 30-member provisional squad, with no surprise inclusion or exclusion, for the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka in September.
The final squad of 15 players will be announced next month.
“I believe this squad shows just how much depth is there in South African cricket,” commented CSA selection convener Andrew Hudson.
“It augurs extremely well both for this tournament as well as the road ahead,” Hudson added.
