South Africa began their chase of 286 runs with their opening pair Quinton de Kock and Hashim Amla. West Indies know the importance of crucial tie and were off the mark right away. Skipper Jason Holder started the attack for his side and conceded just four runs from first over. But when debutante Shanon Gabriel took charge of the ball it was raining wickets as he got his first target through de Kock who was knocked out for 6 off 6 deliveries. Faf du Plessis entered at No.3 and his wicket was rather reviewed after given being declared out. It was Gabriel again and this time it was an lbw hitting right towards the middle stump. After reviewing, du Plessis was asked to exit as well for single digit. LIVE CRICKET SCORECARD: West Indies vs South Africa, Match 9, Tri-Nations Series 2016 at Barbados

South Africa were hopeful that their skipper AB de Villiers could bring up some strong partnership to gain command over the game. But West Indies had other plans and Gabrield attacked again this time achieving crucial wicket of de Villiers who was also picked for single digit. Amla was on the non-strikers end witnessing all his team members falling one by one in quick succession. Just when hopes were high on Amla, West Indies got in their ace spinner Sunil Narine. This time making no mistakes, Narine was right on target and got his wicket as well.

Skipper Holder got the taste of wicket as well when he scalped JP Duminy for 5 off 7 with Suliemann Benn making no mistakes to catch hold of this wicket. At the moment Farhaan Behardien and Chris Morris are trying to regain momentum for South Africa and are playing at 64 for 5 in 17 overs.
