South Africa will have to bat out their skin to win or draw the test after England scored 326 in second innings of Day Four at the first Test in Durban. England is flying high as the final Day 5 approaches. They have managed to take 4 wickets already with South Africa’s final score at stumps was 136 in 47 overs. AB de Villiers and Faf du Plessis survived half of the day without much hassle with just three balls to go in the end. But Steven Finn’s magic spell helped England lead ahead by picking du Plessis in the final line of the day. On day 5, South Africa need 280 runs more to win or draw the game and England need 6-wickets to seal the 1st Test against South Africa. At present, de Villiers is playing for 37 from 79 balls. Faf du Plessis managed to score 8 from 55. The South African batsman maintained their calm and played against the dangerous Steven Finn and Stuart Broad for 20 off overs. De Villiers has been lucky as Jonny Bairstow missed stumping when Moeen Ali was bowling. Steven Finn was at his best after he picked up two major wickets of Hashim Amla and Dean Elgar. Van Zyl and Elgar looked comfortable in the first 5 overs, but with the strong bowlers like Finn and Chris Woakes the wickets kept crippling for South Africa before the Day 4 ended. England hailed as Bairstow scored 79 in 76 balls while Joe Root scored 73 in 128 balls which made England lead to a score of 326. But Dane Piedt and van Zyl emerged as the stars for South Africa as they picked up 5 wickets and 3 wickets respectively.
