The Proteas gave a great fight but in the end, came up short against the Men in Blue who won the match by 11 runs at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. With this victory, India go 2-1 up in the 4-match series. This win has ensured India that they at least won’t end the series on the losing side.

South Africa now stand on the verge of defeat as Marco Jansen departs after playing a brilliant knock of 54 off just 17 deliveries. The Proteas now 202/7 after 19.3 overs and require 18 runs off 3 balls.

Marco Jansen smashes Pandya for 26 runs in the 19th over to leave South Africa at 195/6 after 19 overs. South Africa now need 25 in the last over.

This may well be the final nail in the coffin for the Proteas as Heinrich Klaasen departs after playing a great knock of 41 runs off 22 deliveries. Arshdeep Singh gets his second scalp of the day to restrict South Africa to 167/6.

Pandya picks up the massive wicket of David Miller who departs after playing a decent knock of 18 runs off as many deliveries. South Africa now stand at 142/5 after 15.5 overs.

Left-handed batter Rinku Singh departs after playing a rather disappointing knock of 8 runs off 13 deliveries. Andile Simelane gets his second wicket of the day as India now stand at 190/5 after 17.5 overs.

Tilak Varma looks set to complete a maiden T20I century here as he is currently batting on 90 off 47 deliveries. In this fantastic knock, he has so far scored 6 boundaries and sixes each. Rinku Singh on the other hand, has supported him well so far with his 6 runs off 10 deliveries. India now 183/4 after 17 overs.

Keshav Maharaj gets his second scalp of the day in the form of Hardik Pandya, who departs after scoring 18 runs off 16 deliveries. India now 132/4 after 13 overs.

Tilak Varma has now scored his third T20I fifty in 18 innings. He has brought up his half-century in 32 deliveries and has so far hit 3 boundaries and sixes each.

Varma is closing in on his fifty as he is currently batting on 49 while Hardik Pandya has started his innings well by scoring 17 runs in 12 deliveries. India now 130/3 after 12 overs.

The Indian skipper could only manage to score a single run before getting dismissed by pacer Andile Simelane. Marco Jansen takes a great catch on the boundary rope. India now 110/3 after 9.2 overs.

The Indian opener gets stumped by Heinrich Klaasen on Keshav Maharaj’s delivery after scoring 50 runs off 25 delievries. It’s skipper Suryakumar Yadav who will come out to bat next.

The left-handed batter reaches his fifty in just 24 delieveries. In his blistering knock, Abhishek has so far scored 3 boundaries and 5 enormous sixes. The 100-run partnership between Abhishek and Tilak has also come up.
