IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has reportedly decided which players they will be retaining ahead of the mega auction. According to a report by ESPNCricinfo, the Hyderabad-based franchise will be retaining Australian all-rounder Cummins, Indian batting sensation Abhishek Sharma and experienced South African batter Heinrich Klaasen.
However, the shocking thing here is the price for which they are reportedly retaining these players. Klaasen is the costliest among the bunch as SRH will retain him for Rs. 23 Crore while Cummins will be retained for 18 crore. Finally, Abhishek will also get a massive sum of 14 crore.
Apart from these 3 players, SRH is likely to retain explosive Australian batter Travis Head and young Indian all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy.
Though Nitish was an uncapped player during the 2024 IPL season, he recently made his debut against Bangladesh in India’s 3-match T20I series where in the second encounter he even won the Player of the Match award.
