Sri Lanka extend lead to 176 against Pakistan on Day 3

Sri Lanka reached 355-5 in their second innings at tea on the fourth day of the first Test against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi on Friday.

 

Angelo Mathews was unbeaten on 87 while Prasanna Jayawardene was 14 not out as Sri Lanka, who trailed by 179 runs in the first innings, now have an overall lead of 176 with five wickets intact.

 

Mathews added an invaluable 138 runs for the fifth wicket with Dinesh Chandimal (89).

Paceman Junaid Khan has figures of 3-79.
