The on-field rivalry between India and Australia is generating plenty of buzz, sparks are also flying off it. A report has emerged in Australian media claiming a feud is developing between the WAGs of the leading cricketers of the country following an article that ranks them on the basis of 'Instagram followers, business ventures and career success'.

Australia batting superstar Steve Smith's wife Dani Willis is reportedly unhappy with her spot as she was ranked 21 by Herald Sun, way below David Warner's better half Candice Warner. LA Galaxy footballer Javier Hernandez's Australian wife Sarah Kohan topped the rankings followed by Vanessa Sierra, the girlfriend of tennis star Bernard Tomic.

Candice is the top-placed cricket WAG followed by Erin Holland, Ben Cutting's fianc , at ninth. According to Australian magazine New Idea, Willis is determined to "get back on top" and becoming number one".

"She (Willis) was placed at a disappointing number 21 and was quite shocked when she realised she was beaten by so many others, including Candice Warner," the magazine quoted an unnamed source as claiming. "She's recently had a taste of Hollywood after her hubby linked up with Chris Hemsworth's long-time personal trainer for a week-long boot camp and now Dani is obsessed by the promise of a new life."

"She's really hoping to break into the Hemsworths' inner circle of friends. She has only ever wanted to be the number one celebrity couple of cricket ... complete with their multimillion-dollar property portfolio," the source added.

Smith, widely regarded as one of the finest batsmen of the current generation, got married to law graduate Willis in September 2018 in a private ceremony. The former Australia captain proposed his now wife atop the Rockefeller Centre in New York in 2017.

The duo reportedly first met in 2011 at a bar during the inaugural season of the Big Bash League.
