Rajasthan Royals (RR) New Zealand fast bowler, Tim Southee has declined to comment on the ongoing issue between England discard, Kevin Pietersen and England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

Southee instead spoke on the New Zealand’s upcoming tour of England in a press conference at Mumbai, on being asked if New Zealand would face tough challenege. “Not really. England are playing in their conditions. We are playing a good brand of cricket, but they will be good too,” he said.

“Havent put much thought to that right now focusing on IPL. England have played good cricket. Especially against West Indies,” he added.

On being asked about the captaincy so far for RR with Shane Watson and Steven Smith, he calmly replied, “Both [Steve Smith and Shane Watson] have been great. we are lucky to have had two captains this year.
