India’s Test skipper Virat Kohli is back ruling the headlines with launch of Futsal Premier League anthem ‘Naam Hai Futsal’ along with his favorite musician AR Rahman. Kohli is not just a star on-field but also has some special talents off the field as well. He is seen grooving and rapping along with Rahman in the video. The video anthem was launched by Rahman on his Twitter account. The video also features some football players to add the extra element. Kohli has collaborated with the music maestro for the first time and also lent his voice for the Premier Futsal League’s official anthem. This was the first time Oscar Award-winning composer lended his music to a franchise-based sport league in the country. Rahman was proud to be associated with Premier Futsal and was happy to see young entrepreneurs being passionate about the sporting scenario in India. He also expressed his excitement to work with Kohli. On the other hand, Kohli was equally elated to work with his favorite musician and mentioned he was honoured to work with Rahman for this project. Kohli who is busy preparing for West Indies tour will play two-day practice match beginning from July 9 against WICB President XI while the first Test against West Indies will be played on July 21. Meanwhile, The Premier Futsal will kick start from July 15 in India and will have franchises representing Mumbai, Goa, Kochi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Delhi. International players like Michel Salgado, Paul Scholes, and Deco will play alongside home grown talent. Over 50 International Futsal players from 21 countries will be part of the league.
