During the Champions Trophy 2025 semifinal clash against Australia, Indian star player Virat Kohli secured his name in record books as he achieved a massive milestone.

When Kohli took the catch of Josh Inglis in the clash, he broke a long-standing record of former Indian captain and T20 World Cup winning-head coach Rahul Dravid.

After just a few days of breaking Mohammad Azharuddin’s record for most catches for India in ODI matches, Kohli secured his position as the player with most catches for India in the history of international cricket by taking Inglis’s catch at the short cover.

Virat Kohli now has 335 catches on his name for India, and he has gone past Rahul Dravid who had 334 catches in international cricket. Apart from these two players, no Indian has managed to take more than 300 catches in international cricket.
