Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 is just a day away with the grand opening ceremony being held on Friday at NSCI stadium, Mumbai starting from 7:30 IST. The tickets are very much available online and can be purchased on bookmyshow.com. The ceremony is expected to be a glittery affair with Bollywood and International pop stars adorning the show with their presence. The ticket prices are ranging from Rs.10,000 to 15,000 for Black Silver seats and Black Gold seats. The tickets can be purchased through debit/credit card or on EMI basis as well. The celebrities who will be seen performing in the grand ceremony include the likes of Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Jacquline Fernandes, Yo Yo Honey Singh and American singer Chris Brown. Moreover, there would be 200 dancers, mass cast performers, folk artists and percussionists to add more entertainment to the much awaited inaugural ceremony of IPL 9. Ferriswheel is all set to put together a mad cricket party which will enliven the spirit of cricket. For the first time ever, India will see a 360 degree experience of seamless graphics and projection and state-of-the-art technology – all in one show.
IPL will be hosting 56 matches along with 2 qualifiers and one eliminator and the final being held in Mumbai. There are talks of matches being shifted from Maharashtra due to drought issues though the opening match between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants will be played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
