During January 10’s match against the Hobart Hurricanes, former Australian captain and Sydney Thunder skipper David Warner was at the receiving side of a massive incident. During the match in Hobart, Warner broke his bat in an attempt to make a big shot, then the broken willow hit him in the head, which has left everyone stunned.
Warner was in an attempt to replicate one of his well-known shots when the incident took place during fourth ball of the opening over of Riley Meredith. The commentary crew got sent a wave of shock as the shattered fragments of the bat flew back and hit warner on the helmet. The captain moaned in agony and stared at his bat in shock .

“The physio might have to rush onto the field to check on Warner,” the commentators jokingly stated. The former Australian opener managed to move over the situation and did not take much time to move over this situation and continue to entertain the crowd present at the stadium.
