Pakistan’s brilliant performance made a new statement for the upcoming biggest event of all time, the Asia Cup. In the ongoing tri-series, Pakistan beat Afghanistan by 75 runs in the finals at Sharjah.
In the finals of the tri-series at Sharjah, Pakistan star Mohammad Nawaz shone after his great performance against Afghanistan as he took a brilliant hat-trick and achieved the best figures of his career, 5/19.
Due to the bad pitch conditions, Pakistan wouldn’t be able to stretch their score and stopped o 142 runs. Fakhar Zaman was the top-scorer for his team as he smashed 27 runs. On the other hand, Rashid Khan picked up three wickets. However, Afghanistan collapsed badly, bowled out for just 66 in 15.5 overs, as Nawaz’s spell destroyed their batting.
Pakistan star Mohammad Nawaz dismissed Darwish Rasooli and Azmatullah Omarzai for ducks on successful deliveries and then removed Ibrahim Zadran for nine off the first ball of his next over to complete a hat-trick.
