PAKISTAN all-rounder Shadab Khan feels that the Pakistan cricket team will have to be mentally strong during the ODI World Cup in India as the team won’t be having crowd support and Indian fans will be going all guns blazing in the stadium.

Shadab was optimistic about the Babar Azam-led side doing well in India and said that winning the World Cup in India will be icing on the cake. The two arch-rivals are set to face off on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

“We won’t have the crowd support in India. In that sense we’ll have to be very strong mentally. The way our players are, mentally strong, I think we’ll have a good tournament. Winning the World Cup in India will be like the icing on the cake… Definitely, whichever team comes will come to win the tournament, but the key is how you as a team play and how you start because we will have to play against every team; it’s a great opportunity for all the teams,” Shadab Khan said in an exclusive interview with Saj Sadiq..
