Rajat Patidar was one of the three players retained before the 2025 IPL mega auction, and holds a decent record when it comes to leadership. His leadership is of a strong position, as he led Madhya Pradesh to the final in both Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy.
