With India’s limited-over skipper MS Dhoni’s biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ just a few days away from its release, the real and reel life Dhoni (Sushant Singh Rajput), are busy with the promotions across the world. This time Dhoni and Sushant went to Chennai to promote the movie at Satyam Cinemas. But if you are in Chennai and one does not meet the god of Tamil movie superstar Rajnikanth, then your trip will surely be incomplete. After the event, Dhoni and Sushant met the superstar at Thalaivar’s residence. The conversation went from Rajnikanth asking about the movie and the characters in the movie to Rajnikanth presenting Dhoni with a Kanjeevaram shawl.
Sushant and Dhoni are huge fans of Rajnikant. At the residence, Rajnikanth was present with his wife and children. In the event, Dhoni even narrated a dialogue from Rajnikanth’s movie ‘Padiyappa’, which was loved by all present at the event. Dhoni’s event was attended by Jyothika and her kids. Interestingly, Dhoni is a big fan of Singam’s Tamil version, where the main lead was Suriya. Dhoni interacted with Jyothika’s children and mentioned, “I am a big fan of your dad,” who were thrilled to watch Dhoni.
The pictures of a happy Jyothika were doing the rounds online. She is seen smiling as she looks on her children interacting with Dhoni. This was not first time Dhoni heaped praises on Suriya. He had done it before when he had visited Chennai last week during Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL). After Rajnikanth, if there was any actor whom he adored in Tamil movies was Suriya. He even revealed that he watched Suriya’s blockbuster film Singam with subtitles and he liked it. ALSO READ: MS Dhoni is a great captain; excited to watch his biopic: Sreesanth
