Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has shared his doubts on Rohit Sharma playing in the 2027 ODI World Cup. Rohit has recently led India to victory in the ICC Champions Trophy, and gave subtle hints about continuing toll the 2027 ODI World Cup. Now, Harbhajan believes Rohit will have to work on his fitness if he wishes to lead India in the 2027 ODI world Cup.
Rohit has been brilliant as the Indian captain in the limited-over cricket. He has led India to the final of the ODI World Cup 2023, and victories in the 2024 T20 World Cup and the Champions Trophy 2025.
“I feel that if anything is left for him to achieve is the 50-over World Cup. He would probably want to win but there is still two and a half years for that. That is way too far, he will have to see where his fitness is going, where his hunger is going,” Harbhajan told ESPNCrincinfo.
