Harris was quoted by Cricket Australia’s official website saying, “It’s going to be great fun. The girls have been talking about it a lot and we are all keen to be a part of something so exciting for the sport.” There will be 59 matches in the tournament played in just 51 days. It is expected that WBBL will be a success since women’s cricket has witnessed more crowd support and media attention in the last few years.
