Yuvraj Singh continues to play a major role in the world of cricket despite being inconsistent in his gameplay, while he continues to struggle hard to find a place in the Indian side. Having already said that he intends to play cricket until 2019, Yuvraj continues to do promotional activities in cricket apart from just playing the game. On Monday, he launched an adolescent campaign for the International Cricket Council (ICC), in a joint venture with UNICEF. He also launched the “Power of Sports to Shape the Future of Adolescents” in South Asia. He was also joined with the U-19 players from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, ahead of the 2018 ICC U-19 World Cup in New Zealand. Yuvraj Singh has fitness concerns: MSK Prasad

On UNICEF-ICC’s adolescent campaign

“There are 340 million adolescents in South Asia. When I see the energy, passion and determination of these young people, I feel so much hope. While the challenges in this region are vast, my hope is that their energy can be harnessed to create a better tomorrow for all adolescents in South Asia,” said Yuvraj.

“Our partnership with UNICEF is an important one and the commitment that place have shown to being part of the panel is a wonderful demonstration of that,” said ICC CEO Dave Richardson.
