Yuvraj Singh, the aggressive middle order batsman, has advanced at the Salaam Cricket conclave organised by Aaj Tak that he will not give up trying to find his way back into the India and that while it would be a blow if he were not selected in the squad for the ICC World Cup 2015 his life would go on. Singh the man of the series in the ICC World Cup 2011 has been out of favour for some time now.
“After 2011, anyways, my story is different. My body took a long time to get back in shape. Want to get back to action. I am trying and
will keep trying. If I am not named in the world cup squad the life wont stop,” he said.
In 2011 the then coach Gary Kirsten had played a key role in India winning. ” His presence made a lot of difference. He understood us. Then Mike Horn came and shared his experiences. His experiences motivated us a lot.”

The conclave – named ‘Kaise Jeetenge World Cup’ – is attended by the likes of , Kapil Dev, Allan Border, Imran Khan, Steve Waugh, Ricky Ponting, Arjuna Ranatunga, who are among the captains who led their teams to World Cup wins. Among the other skippers will be Sunil Gavaskar, Sourav Ganguly, Ajay Jadeja, Mohammad Azharuddin, Bishan Singh Bedi, Inzamam-ul-Haq, and Aamer Sohail.
