ICC World Cup 2011 player of the tournament Yuvraj Singh will be part of the MCC team in the Emirates T20 tournament in Dubai to be held in March.

Lord’s official website announced the news on Thursday. Yuvraj played for Rest of the World during last year’s bicentenary fixture against MCC and scored 132 off 134 balls.

Yuvraj will play with England Test captain Alastair Cook, Nick Compton and Michael Carberry. Nepal’s captain Paras Khadka will also be part of the T20 tournament.

Lancashire, Yorkshire and Sussex will play along side MCC in the tournament, which will be played on March 20.

“There are some great players in the squad so we stand a good chance of winning the competition. I’ve got fond memories of playing against MCC in the Lord’s bicentenary match last year and I’m delighted to be involved with the club again,” Yuvraj said.
