Jul 18, 2014:

Afghanistan were 141/4 after 40 overs in the first One-Day International (ODI) against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo on Friday. Mohammad Nabi was batting on 32 runs and Samiullah Shenwari was batting on 36 runs.

Noor Ali Zadran was the only batsman who  showed some resistance, and he too did not have a strike rate to boast of. He finally fell for 43. Asghar Stanikzai too failed miserably with the bat scoring just 8 runs off 34 balls.

Donald Tiripano has been impressive for Zimbabwe, taking a wicket and bowling 3 maidens. He has been well supported by Tendai Chatara, who has taken 2 wickets and bowled 1 maiden.
