Zimbabwe and New Zealand will lock horn in the one-off Twenty20 International (T20I) at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday. The match will be New Zealand’s last assignment in their ongoing tour of Zimbabwe, before they head off to South Africa for two T20Is and three One-Day International (ODI) series. Zimbabwe will aim to finish their engagements with the Black Caps on a positive note after losing the third and final ODI by 38 runs to lose the series 1-2. New Zealand, on the other hand, will start off as favourites despite Ross Taylor being ruled out of the upcoming match, as well as the South Africa tour. Live Updates: Zimbabwe vs New Zealand, one-off T20I at Harare
The Zimbabwean batting order, on the other hand, has faced the problem of a lack of co-ordination in the second and third ODIs. While the top-order did a fantastic job in the first game to setup a memorable victory, they collapsed in the second match before the tail-enders guided them to a respectable score. New Zealand were dealt with a major blow when star batsman Taylor had to be flown back home for further treatment on the groin injury. Taylor was in prime form, having struck a century in the first match to guide the Black Caps to 303, and would have been an important weapon in the South Africa tour.
