New Zealand are set to end their formalities in Zimbabwe when they face them in the one-off Twenty20 International (T20I), their final engagement in their ongoing tour, at Harare on Sunday. The Black Caps, led by Kane Williamson in this tour instead of Brendon McCullum, will look to end the tour on a positive note after clinching the recently-concluded One-Day International (ODI) series 2-1, before they head off to South Africa. Zimbabwe will look to prove that their stunning seven-wicket victory in the first ODI was no fluke, and end their engagements with the Kiwis with a win, like they did against India. Live Scorecard: Zimbabwe vs New Zealand, one-off T20I at Harare
New Zealand won the third and final ODI by 38 runs to win the series 2-1. Ross Taylor had sustained an injury to his groin just before the match, and was thus ruled out of the remainder of the ongoing as well as the upcoming South Africa tour. Kane Williamson struck a useful 90 to guide the visitors to a respectable 273 for six, with Graeme Cremer emerging the pick among the Zimbabwean bowlers with figures of 3 for 44. Zimbabwe, in reply, were off to a strong start thanks to a 97-run opening stand between Hamilton Masakadza (57) and Chamu Chibhabha (32). They kept losing wickets at regular intervals thereafter, with Sean Williams (63) providing the only resistance from the middle-order. Mitchell McClenaghan led the destruction of the Zimbabwe batsmen by taking three wickets for 36 runs. Live Updates: Zimbabwe vs New Zealand, one-off T20I at Harare
