Hosts Zimbabwe face Sri Lanka in the first One-Day International (ODI) of the Zimbabwe-Sri Lanka-West Indies tri-nation series 2016-17. The match will be played at Harare Sports Club, Harare. The live cricket telecast of the match will be available on Ten Sports, Super Sports and ZBC in Zimbabwe. The live coverage of the cricket matches will be available on Ten Sports in Sri Lanka while it will be available on Flow Sports in West Indies. The live cricket streaming will be available on tensports.com all over. Zimbabwe will be led by Graeme Cremer, Sri Lanka by Upul Tharanga and West Indies by Jason Holder in the series. All the three teams will play two matches each with the other teams in the series. The two teams with maximum points will reach the final which will be played on November 23 at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. Zimbabwe will have the home side advantage in the match while Sri Lanka will be confident walking into the series after defeating the hosts recently in the Test series.
Zimbabwe have picked Carl Mumba and Tarisai Musakanda while Tinashe Panyangara makes in the ODI squad. Peter Moor is likely to keep the stumps. Moor has emerged as one of the most dependable batsmen of the side but is yet to shine as much as a wicketkeeper. Asela Gunaratne and Lahiru Kumara are the new names in the Sri Lanka side while playing under Tharanga will also be a new experience for the side.
