Before the IPL 2025 resumes, BCCI made THIS massive order to all the franchises

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided to suspend the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 for a week after a blackout in Dharamshala. Now, the board has given a massive order to all the franchises.

Because of the tensions at the border between India and Pakistan, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had decided to suspend the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 for a week. The suspension was implemented on Friday, May 9th after the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capital (DC) clash was abandoned due to a blackout in Dharamshala.

Now, it has been reported that the BCCI has informed all the IPL franchises that they are to unite all their team and staff by Tuesday, as the tournament is going to resume soon.

On the condition of anonymity, a top franchise official spoke to IANS on Sunday. “We have been informed about gathering our team players and support staff members on Tuesday. Where we have to gather is not known yet. But as of now. We have received a message from the BCCI about starting the process of assembling the team and will assemble everyone by Tuesday. We will now also start the process of bringing the foreign players back to India as soon as possible,” he said.

The agency had earlier reported on Saturday that the BCCI has their target set on completing all the remaining matches of the IPL before May 25, as the India ‘A’ team has to leave for a three-match tour of England. According to the original IPL schedule, the final was to be held on May 25, which will be played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

It is now known to everyone that the final decision on the dates and venues for the revised schedule of the tournament is going to be taken by the IPL Governing Council after consultation with the government, especially after the ceasefire violations on Saturday night.
