Finally some smiles for Pakistan!

Pakistan have always been one of most competitive sides in world cricket and that’s across formats. Ever since the March 2009 attack on the Sri Lankan team’s bus, Pakistan as a nation, hasn’t hosted an international. Though that’s expected to change soon but the cricket crazy nation has suffered due to his. They haven’t been a consistent side across formats and luck hasn’t been with them too as they missed several key players in their World Cup campaign too.

Pakistani players finally had reasons to smile as they beat Bangladesh in the second Test at Dhaka to win the series 1-0. It had been a disappointing tour for Pakistan, who lost the One-Day series 3-0, to a side that were considered minnows till very recently and later also lost the Twenty20 series against them. Despite of Pakistan putting in a brave show in the first Test, Bangladesh managed to save it.

The under pressure Pakistan side, led by Misbah-ul-Haq, didn’t lose hope and came back strong in the second Test and registered a massive 328-runs win.
